Large Attendance at EFFRA ICT 2015 Session
LISBON, 22 October. There was a large attendance at last week’s EFFRA networking session at the major EU conference on ICT research and innovation - ICT 2015 - with over 150 experts participating, such is the level of interest in digitisation and manufacturing.
Participants from across Europe and sectors joined to learn more about digital integration in ‘Factories of the Future’ through four project examples: MUSIC, Sense&React, CAPP-4-SMEs and Psymbiosys.
Factories of the Future Call 2017
'Factories of the Future' call 2017 closed on 19 February 2017 and call topic brokerage is has concluded. For this call and for future calls, expressions of interest and potential project ideas can be posted on the EFFRA Innovation Portal (access is free).
€278 Million Available for Manufacturing Innovation
The European Commission has announced an ambitious investment in the latest ‘Factories of the Future’ call topics for 2016 and 2017. €278 million is being invested in these calls which will support research and innovation projects to realise the transformation of manufacturing in Europe.
‘Factories of the Future’ call 2016 is open and will run until 21 January 2016. Project proposals must be submitted by this date through the Horizon 2020 Participant Portal.
