Commissioner Oettinger to Open Factories of the Future Conference 2016
BRUSSELS, 28 July. EFFRA is pleased to announce that Günther H. Oettinger, European Commissioner for Digital Economy and Society, will officially open the Factories of the Future Conference 2016: Materialising Factories 4.0 (15 & 16 September 2016).
The Commissioner will deliver a keynote address in the opening plenary session of the conference on 15 September. Mr. Oettinger will be joined in the opening plenary by high level speakers from Airbus, FESTO, Siemens and Volvo who will provide their perspective on the future of manufacturing in Europe.
Factories of the Future Conference 2016 with gather over 80 expert speakers and 300 participants from across Europe to discuss the transformation of manufacturing in Europe and explore how this transformation is being realised through the EU’s ‘Factories of the Future’ public-private partnership (PPP).
Partnership Info Day Registration Open
BRUSSELS, 11 July. Registration is open for the 2016 Factories of the Future partnership (PPP) Info Day which will take place on 14 October in Brussels.
An event dedicated to organisations interested in participating in the 2017 call for proposals of the Factories of the Future PPP, the Info Day is an opportunity to find out more about each topic and to meet potential project partners or potential project consortia.
The Info Day includes a brokerage session wherein interested participants can briefly present their interest in participating in project proposals and/or request for potential project partners of their proposal.
