INEGI – Institute of Science and Innovation in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering is a non-profit private industry-orientated Research and Technology Organisation (RTO) linked to the University of Porto. INEGI’s research activity covers the areas of new-smart materials and structural solutions, advanced production processes, product & systems development, prototyping and testing, energy, and biomechanics. With a workforce of 220 employee more than 55% of its total turnover (8.0 million euros) comes from R&I projects funded by industry.
