The Institute for Advanced Manufacturing of the University of Nottingham is an interdisciplinary research centre in advanced manufacturing with the capability to address the needs of a number of industrial sectors with major global industrial stakeholders including Airbus, Rolls-Royce, BAE Systems, IBM and Siemens.
The Institute has an international reputation for its academic excellence in advanced manufacturing research related to the priorities of the ‘Factories of the Future’ partnership backed up by world class facilities for the development, testing and validation of new manufacturing technologies which are then rapidly transformed into novel industrial applications.
